Statement of Faith
1. GOD

We believe God is love. (1 John 4:8; 1 John 4:16)
-
We believe God the Father created all things through His Word and by His Spirit. (Genesis 1:1–2:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 11:3)
-
We believe God is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—One God in three Persons. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
-
We believe God is the Creator of all, but not the Father of all. Only those who receive Jesus become His children. (John 1:12; John 8:44; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6)
-
We believe God makes His home in the hearts of true believers. (1 John 4:12)
2. SCRIPTURE

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe the Bible is God's message of grace and truth to the world today—living, active, and relevant. (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe the Bible was written by eyewitnesses of historical events, guided by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:1)

We believe the Scriptures "read us" as we read them, revealing truth and guiding our lives. (Psalm 119:105; James 1:23–25)

We believe the Word of God is very pure and therefore very sure. (Proverbs 30:5; John 15:3)
3. HUMANITY & SIN

We believe all humanity has sinned and stands in need of God’s divine forgiveness. (Romans 3:10; Romans 5:12)

We believe sin separates humanity from God, and only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can one be reconciled to God. (Isaiah 59:2; Acts 3:19)

We believe God hates sin but loves the sinner. (2 Peter 3:9; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:4–5)
4. JESUS CHRIST

We believe the Word became flesh and dwelt among us in the person of Jesus Christ. (John 1:14)

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was tempted yet without sin, and fulfilled all righteousness. (Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 1:23)
-
We believe Christ and His Word are One. (John 1:1–4)

We believe Jesus Christ healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, and still performs miracles today. (Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 8:16–17)

We believe He took upon Himself the sin of the world and atoned for our iniquities with His Blood on the Cross. (1 John 2:2)

He defeated death, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns in power at the right hand of the Father, mediating and interceding for us. (1 Corinthians 15:4; 1 Timothy 2:5)

We believe Jesus Christ is alive forevermore. (Matthew 28:20; Revelation 1:18)
5. SALVATION

We believe salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

We believe salvation requires genuine, faithful belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 4:24–25; John 3:16–18)
-
We believe repentance, faith, and a new birth by the Holy Spirit mark the beginning of a transformed life. (John 3:3–5; Acts 2:38)
-
Those who love salvation will accept it; those who love darkness reject it. (John 3:19–21)
6. THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, active in the world, convicting of sin, regenerating the believer, and empowering for holy living and service. (John 14:26; Acts 1:8)

We believe the Holy Spirit gives gifts as He wills for the edification of the Church. (1 Corinthians 12:7–11)
-
We believe that being filled with the Holy Spirit is essential for boldness, guidance, and power in the Christian life. (Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:14)
7. THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers united by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:4–6)

We believe the Church is called to worship God, disciple believers, proclaim the Gospel, and minister to those in need. (Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20)
8. ORDINANCES
-
We believe water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances instituted by Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19–20)
-
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith and identification with Christ’s death and resurrection. (Romans 6:3–4)
-
Communion is a sacred act of remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and anticipation of His return. (1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
9. MIRACLES AND HEALING

We believe Jesus Christ still performs miracles, heals the sick, and sets the oppressed free. (Hebrews 13:8; James 5:14–16)
-
Miracles are manifestations of God's love and power, confirming His Word. (Mark 16:17–18)
-
We believe that miracles are not brought about by the power or Godliness of any human being, but by faith in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 3:12,16)
10. SPIRITUAL WARFARE

We believe we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. (Ephesians 6:10–12)
-
We believe Jesus has overcome the enemy, and believers have authority in His name. (Luke 10:19; Revelation 12:11)
11. THE RESURRECTION AND JUDGMENT
-
We believe Jesus Christ will bodily return in glory to judge the living and the dead. (Acts 1:11; Matthew 25:31–34)
-
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to eternal separation from God. (John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15)
12. THE ETERNAL STATE

We believe in the new Heaven and new Earth where righteousness dwells, and God will dwell with His people forever. (Revelation 21:1–4; 2 Peter 3:13)

We believe Hell is a real place of eternal separation from God, prepared for the devil and his angels, and those who reject Christ will join them. (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10)
